Training and Education

Education is key when it comes to quality in-home care.   We provide

ongoing training and education to our field staff and to the interested public.

Home Health Aide Course   An eighty hour course is conducted at our offices.  The course meets Medicare Guideline standards including ten hours of actual "hands on care", supervised by registered nursing professionals.

26 Additional Hours  of additional education is available to Home Health Aides who desire to work with the Developmentally Disabled.

Meal Planning and Preparation Course  To assure that our client's nutritional needs are met, our direct care staff receives training in nutrition and food preparation at our on-site kitchen facility.

English as a Second Language (ESOL) To assist individuals looking to develop their English speaking skills, a curriculum is offered  that provides the ability to communicate with the medical staff and their clients.

Monthly In-Service Topics  Discussions concerning Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Stroke Rehab, Hospice Care, MH/MR and Cerebral Palsy are conducted by the staff and are open to the general public.
